The 2024 St. George Marathon and Half Marathon will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024. St George Half Marathon Runners will start at 7:00 a.m. and St George Marathon Runners will start at 7:00 a.m.
Please remember that Utah is on Mountain Daylight Savings Time — Mesquite and Las Vegas are not.
The Expo/Packet Pick-up is held on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Dixie Convention Center, 1835 Convention Center Drive, St. George, Utah.
The St. George Marathon will be incorporating fee increases throughout the registration period. All Marathon Fees are non-refundable and do not include a processing fee. Registration will close early if we reach our capacity before August 31. The St. George Marathon capacity is 5,500 runners, the St. George Half Marathon capacity is 2,500 runners, and the St. George 5K capacity is 750 runners.

If you choose to transfer your entry to another person, you are responsible for arranging payment for the entry with the person you are transferring it to. The participant you transfer your entry to must complete their registration prior to the deadline of September 15th. To transfer distances, the distance you wish to transfer to must not be sold out. You can upgrade or downgrade prior to September 15 (while spots remain). You will be required to pay the current cost difference. In addition, you will pay a $25.00 or $50.00 USD change fee. If necessary, you can transfer between events and to another person at the same time. Use the deferment process to transfer to next year's event.
IMPORTANT: This is the ONLY authorized way to transfer your entry to another person. Bib numbers are NON-transferable. The selling and/or giving away of a St. George Marathon bib number is not allowed and will result in disqualification of both the original bib owner and the runner using the bib number. Both runners will be prohibited from participating in the St. George Marathon for a minimum of two years.
To transfer your entry, log into your Participant account. Once logged in, select the ‘Transfer Request’ button on the dashboard screen and follow the prompts.
Deferring allows you to receive a credit that you can apply to next year's event. There is a deferral fee of $25.00 if you defer before September 1. If you defer between September 1 - October 4, there will be a $50.00 deferral fee. When you defer, you will receive an email with a code and a link that you will use to redeem your credit. You are not automatically entered for next year's event. You will need to register for next year's event using the link provided when registration opens. Your deferment credit may only be used once and will expire within two years.

Sorry. No. You, and ONLY you must pick up your bib number with a picture ID. Bib numbers and race packets will not be given to anyone other than the registered runner. Please do not send family members or friends to the EXPO with your ID to pick up your packet. This will be a waste of their time and our staff's time. Thank you!
We do offer packet pick-up at bus loading on Saturday morning beginning at 3:30 am.
