Events  //  Intermountain Race Management Roundtable

The 2016 Intermountain Race Management Roundtable was another success. Race directors and staff from all over Utah and Idaho met together to share ideas, encourage and learn from one another. We were honored to hear from some of our industries best, including John Connors – The Color Run, Lindsay Hunt –, Michelle Graves – Huntsman World Senior Games and veteran runner Ross Decker.

We want to personally thank each of you for attending the roundtable and for joining with us in our efforts to make running in Utah the BEST running anywhere!

Below you will find links to the presentations that were shared:

1. Enhancing Experiences Through Partnerships
2. Road Race Trends

Information for our 2017 event will be coming soon.

What will you say after attending the 2016 Intermountain Race Management Roundtable?

" I really liked the open discussion we had as a group at the beginning of the conference. It was a great ice breaker and I thought it established some common ground right off as we shared in each others race challenges."
Janae -

"There are certainly bigger race director conferences out there, but you guys do an outstanding job of putting this together and bringing in content that is valuable. Furthermore, it gets me in the right frame of mind for the race season after the winter break! "
Jeff - Run 13

"I thought it was great overall! It was good to know what is important to runners. I thought the comments from the other race directors were very useful and valuable and would have loved to hear more from them - especially the smaller races who are successful. I would loved to have gone into more detail on some of the topics such as Facebook and advertising, how to create a safety plan and how to get sponsors."
Ellen - Top of Zion Relay

"Many thanks for another terrific IRMR. It is for sure that there are some race directors who are missing something really terrific. "
Lowell – Pocatello, ID

"I thought the training was wonderful- very well-organized with lots of helpful information and networking opportunities."
Ashley – Southwest Health Department

We look forward to spending the weekend with you in beautiful St. George Utah. If you have any questions please email me at
