AWARDS CEREMONY

LOCATION: VERNON WORTHEN PARK PAVALLION
AWARDS PROCEDURE:
Top 10 Overall award winners will be recognized from our awards stage; winners in each age division, 1-5, will pick up awards at a designated area.
Awards must be picked up at the Awards Ceremony or at the St. George Recreation Center (285 S. 400 E.) on Saturday after the race from 2:00-6:00 p.m. or Sunday 10:00-2:00 p.m. Awards may be mailed upon request for the cost of shipping, email marathon@sgcity.org.
MARATHON AWARDS:
The 1st place overall male and female runners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip for themselves and a guest to participate in the Ibigawa Half Marathon in Ibigawa, Japan, taking place in November 2026 (Male and Female overall winners from the 2025 St. George Marathon will not travel until the following year). For Masters category winners, the top male and female runners will have their travel expenses covered to participate in the Ibigawa Half Marathon in Ibigawa, Japan, in November 2026 (Male and Female master winners from the 2025 St. George Marathon will not travel until the following year).
Travel package awards to 2nd and 3rd place males and females.
Special awards to overall Top 10 men and women.
Unique plaques to overall winners, 1st-5th in each division.
HALF MARATHON AWARDS:
Special awards to overall Top 5 men and women.
Unique plaques to division winners, 1st-3rd in each division.
ED WILSON SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD:
This award celebrates the person that has achieved personal greatness in their lives. This award has been given to runners and wheelchair participants of all ages and circumstances, anyone we feel has gone the extra mile in overcoming adversity in their training and personal lives to run the marathon. If you have a personal story or would like to recommend another runner for this award, please mail or email your nomination by Friday, September 3, 2025 to marathon@sgcity.org.
LOVE LIFT ZOCKOLL AWARD:
This award celebrates the person that has shown personal strength and perseverance in their lives. This award will be been given to runners of all ages and circumstances, anyone we feel has gone the extra mile in loving and lifting those around them. It doesn't have to be something large and spectacular, but as Debbie stated, done is better than perfect. As long as you are trying and moving forward - you can achieve anything. If you have a personal story or would like to recommend another runner for this award, please mail or email your nomination by Friday, September 3, 2025 to marathon@sgcity.org.
SPECTRUM SILVER SHOE AWARD:
This award and trophy go to the top local male, female, young male and female runners within The Spectrum's readership area recognizing outstanding achievement.
