Rated by Runner's World as one of the four "Marathons to Build a Vacation Around" in the World. Included in Runner`s World 10 Most Scenic and Fastest Marathons and Top 20 Marathons in the USA. It begins in the majestic Pine Valley mountains and descends nearly 2600 feet through scenic southwest Utah, to the beautiful Worthern Park. The St. George Marathon is a point-to-point race which is USA Track & Field Certified & Sanctioned. Runner`s World listed the St. George Marathon as the fastest fall marathon. Race Entry Cap
The St. George Marathon entry cap is 7800 runners. Read the Registration Procedures to learn more about the registration process.

Entries for participants to use bicycles, skates,strollers, baby joggers, roller blades or other wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs) will not be accepted.

Entry Fee
$90.00

NOTE: Entry Fee is non-refundable once you have been selected to run the marathon. If you are NOT selected in the Lottery your registration fee, minus the online transaction fee, will be refunded to you.

EXPO and Packet-pick-up: All runners are required to pick up your own packet during EXPO hours. ID is required.

Time Standard
All runners must have reached the intersection of Snow Canyon Parkway and State Road 18 within 6 hours and 15 minutes of the start of the race (1:00 pm). This is a non-negotiable rule that will be will be strictly enforced by race officials and Public Safety personnel who have your safety in mind.
Additionally, the St. George Marathon reserves the right to remove a runner from the course if, in our judgment, it is possible that serious or fatal injury could result from continued participation
