24th Annual Mayors Walk


Date: October 2, 2010

Time: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Hosted by the ST. GEORGE EXCHANGE CLUB and sponsored by Yellow Book and State Bank of Southern Utah
Be one of the 1200 participants in the exciting St. George Marathon experience as we walk to the St. George Marathon finish line with Mayor Dan McArthur, business associates, school mates, friends and family. Walk begins at 7:00 a.m. at Bluff Street Park located at 700 North Bluff Street, and follows Diagonal Street to 300 West to 300 South, ending at the finish line at Vernon Worthen Park, 350 East 300 South. Walkers must finish by 8:00 a.m. to ensure an open course for the Wheelchair Division.

You can register at the Expo on Friday from 9:00am to 8:00pm- just look for our booth, or on the day of walk at the new Exchange Club’s Mayors Walk Pavilion at Bluff Street Park- 6:30 a.m.


Entry Fee
Pre-registration fee is $10.00, day of race registration is $12.00. Fee includes a Mayor`s Walk T-Shirt, walker number, walk with the Mayor, and a scone. Hats and visors are available for $12.00 each.


Drawings
Drawings will be held at the end of the walk in Worthen Park. Donated merchandise from local merchants and others will be given away.

Buses
Buses will return to Bluff Street Park beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Business to Business Challenge (Print PDF)

The Exchange Club of St. George is sponsoring a business to business challenge. The
business that registers the most people for the Mayor's walk will recive a free luncheon
with Mayor McArthur.



Family Challenge (Print PDF)
This year the Exchange Club will award an ice cream party with Mayor McArthur to the family that registers the most members of their immediate family to participate in the Mayor’s Walk. This includes children, parents, grandparents, great grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, first cousins, brother-in-laws, and sister-in-laws!
